Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has urged players in the league to open up on the issues surrounding their contracts with their clubs if they are to benefit from the initiative. Sulom General Secretary Williams Banda said the players have a big role to play in ensuring that contracts should improve the players’ welfare. “The players have to be open. If they discover that some clauses in their contracts are not beneficial to them, they should come to Sulom and we can advise them properly on the next step to take,” he said.
